For the summer season of 2009 and 2010, we had exemplary volunteers who helped us in so many ways at Tetlin. Because of our volunteers, we were able to complete the construction of an interpretive pavilion at our Deadman Lake Campground as well as re-stain and spruce up other facilities. Our volunteers also assisted by giving interpretive talks and by helping to staff our Visitor Center. Not only were they extraordinary volunteers--they've become valued friends the we'll look forward to welcoming back the next time their travels bring them to Alaska.
